Rodney A. Williams, CPA

Mr. Williams has been a lifelong resident of the DC metro area. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of the District of Columbia in 1994. He began his career in the accounting and tax field, working as a Revenue Officer for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). At the IRS, he learned about the pitfalls that small businesses face in their daily operations. It was these small businesses, and the individuals who operated them, that inspired his vision of helping small business owners reach their full potential. In 1998, Mr. Williams successfully completed all four parts of the Maryland CPA Exam and began operating as a sole-proprietor.

As an accountant Mr. Williams takes great pride in his work. He is prompt, courteous and efficient. His goal is to educate each client, to help them better understand their individual situations. With this knowledge, these clients will be able to manage their personal finances and, in the case of small business owners, to better oversee their daily operations. Mr. Williams values the importance of client relationships. He adds a personal touch to his services, contacting clients throughout the year with tax law changes and other pertinent financial news. The reason for this is simple; he cares not only about the service he performs, but also about the people to whom the service is provided.
